Pinion Stands These Pinion 2Hi / 3Hi configurations are used in Roughing & Intermediate Mill trains. The Pinions are of hardened & tempered alloy steel, caged in a sturdy fabricated steel housing and are suitable to bear the loads resulting during rolling.
